Due to the large crowd in attendance and the inability of some to see the slide show it is now available to view as a Photo Slide Show so that anyone that could not see it on the Night can comfortably view it at their ease.
It has been loaded as a photo Gallery as this format is only 20% the file size and makes it more accessible for users who do not have "Broadband".
Thank You.

The Puckane & District Development Association will hold an Open Public Meeting to discuss major developments within the village environs

Currently all services within the village are operating at capacity.

If development is allowed to proceed at the scale proposed within the Western Area Local Area Plan ( WALAP )it will have a detrimental effect on the physical and social infrastructure of the village.

There is fear within the community that developments will commence prior to the "Village Design Statement" and without any consultation with the local community.

The Puckane Development Association signed up in good faith to the adoption of a "Village Design Statement" as a prerequisite to any development. To date this process has been ignored by the council and elected members of North Tipperary County Council.

An allocation of Euro 25,000 has been made by North Tipperary County Council to enable Village Design Statements for the 3 villages of Puckane, Dromineer and Garrykennedy.

A Public meeting will be held in Kennedys Lounge this Friday, March 2nd 2007 at 8:30pm to discuss these important issues.
